We are always looking for volunteers for some of our programs and initiatives.
Some of Our Projects
The Thank YOU Card Project is an initiative to send a card to all older adults residing in the Bucksport area. Thank You to all volunteers who assisted with this project which was completed in 2023.
Elder Watch Program
Elder Watch Program Needs Volunteers
These programs are implemented worldwide to engage communities in the well being of our community residents. Bucksport Public Safety , Bucksport Bay Healthy Communities Coalition, and other community based organizations are excited to bring this program to Bucksport.
Bucksport Community Garden
We need volunteers to be on the committee and to help set-up the garden in June, 2024.
Good Morning Program
We’re looking for compassionate individuals with an interest in community service. Volunteers will call a participating Bucksport resident weekly to conduct a wellness check. These brief wellness checks will provide space for connection, support, and linking participants to local resources.
