The Age and Ability-Friendly Committee in Bucksport recently designed a "Healthy Homes for Older Adults" brochure that is available online at Bucksport Bay Healthy Communities Coalition's website. Additionally, you can pick up a copy at the Buck Memorial Library or at the upcoming Bucksport Regional Health Center Health Fair on June 1st from 10:00 to 2:00 pm at the BBHCC booth.
This resource lists home repair vendors and house cleaning services available in the area and also provides information on the Home Safety & Accessibility Repair program that launched in Bucksport in 2023 and will expand to other Bucksport Bay communities in 2024/2025.
